A Wedding Planner is an Investment

Lisi Korn

LisiKornWhen you’re a newly engaged bride and groom in the process of potentially hiring a wedding planner, the elephant in the room can come down to cost. Sometimes it can be hard to wrap your head around the true cost of a wedding. There are a lot of details that go into a wedding, many of which can be forgotten when budgeting early on. When I suggest a price, it is reflective of my brand and the countless details that I assume when I plan your wedding.

Full-Service Wedding planners do more than just plan your wedding.

lisi-korn-forever-events-design-and-planningIt takes about a week of work before clients have their “Aha!” moment and realize the value of having a wedding planner. Recommending vendors, answering questions, attending meetings, serving as the liaison between the couple and other vendors; these are a few of the services my team and I handle for our clients. Planning a wedding involves a thorough attention to detail that escapes most couple’s analysis when making the decision as to whether to hire a wedding planner. Wedding planning is not a hard science, but does require a lot of hard work, organization, creativity, leadership, passion, and so much more.
Vendor selection is an art in itself. What wedding DIY-ers do not realize is that wedding vendors can be a hassle if selected haphazardly. At Forever Events, we have a long-standing relationship with all of our vendors, making your wedding services and amenities seamless and efficient.

Time is the one commodity that you can never get enough of, which is why using our time helps make the most and best of yours. Our planning process at Forever Events is a comprehensive undertaking, often spanning more than 1000 hours from the initial consult with a client to cleaning out sending thank you cards to the guests. Much of our work is pre-approved and determined by the client, but the majority of the behind-the-scenes details are executed efficiently to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.

Although our ability to administer to dozens of details and to-do lists is why we are hired, having a wedding planner adds a much needed, albeit intangible, benefit: peace of mind. We know where to find the best professionals (at the best prices), experience with things like time-sensitive checklists and third-party mediation, and being a competent professional that can both work for you and be empathetic as the inevitable emotions surrounding such a milestone boil to the surface.

Without a planner, unexpected details can derail long-term planning and make seemingly benign situations quickly unravel into weeks of headache. Anyone that considers wedding planning romantic has not taken into consideration all the processes that have to be successful in order to get it there.

We Do More than Plan Events, We Make Memories

Having a professional manage your wedding day is not just about making sure that the details of the day are taken care of, rather, it is knowing that a trained professional cares about your wedding just as much as you do. People want validation, and this is even more true when you are planning a wedding. Having someone you can trust on your big day is a relief and well worth an investment.
